Top Performing Programs Invite Season

Hi everyone, this is a list of the top performing programs for the invite season so far. This measures program performance as a whole as opposed to individual teams. Win rates were calculated from the competitiveness of invites attended as well as total ballots won. We calculated these rates using all available tab summaries, but there are just a couple missing - if you would like those to be included, feel free to link below!

This is really interesting, a few questions:

1) Will you be updating this as new tab summaries are released?

2) How did you calculate percent competitive?

We will be updating as new tab summaries are released! The rankings were just updated earlier today to include results from Mock at the Rock.

% Competitive for each invite was determined by a) the number of attending 2019 NCT competitors who did not compete at their respective 2020 ORCS due to the pandemic, and b) the number of attending programs who received a bid to the 2020 NCT after competing at their respective ORCS. Teams who competed at the 2019 NCT but did not receive a bid to the 2020 NCT after competing at their respective 2020 ORCS were excluded. Essentially, % competitive is determined by (a+b)/total teams at the invite.

One correction, the Fordham team from Chucky Mullins was Fordham RH, not Fordham LC. At the moment, it's listed under LC.

Thank you for pointing that out! The error has been corrected.

Another quick question for you - it seems as though some programs are not getting counted. For instance, I see from the Chucky Mullins tab summary that Pace was in attendance (and went 5-3) but I don't see that (and others from Chucky Mullins) accounted for in your fantastic excel chart. Or am I missing something for why some results would be excluded?

There was a bit of a delay in transferring the complete results from the Chucky Mullins tab summary, but all results from that invite have just been added, and the records and have been updated accordingly!

We will post here whenever a complete tab summary has been added, sometimes it takes a bit of time to transfer all the results!

This is fantastic. I think there are a couple more tab summaries available on AMTA since December 1, though.
