2021 Fantasy Mock Trial ORCS Edition

Welcome to Fantasy Mock Trial!

As usual, we thought it might be fun to get people involved in predicting ORCS outcomes with a bit of a game. We hope that we will actually be able to finish this year:

Here are the rules:
1. Select 8 teams from this list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1F3Hs4HI9RaTeAKTRiGgmy2I7iYs0NswlO0_KeaRUYmM/edit?usp=sharing
2. You must choose one team from each ORCS
3. You are limited to a budget of $900
4. You may not select the same 8 teams as someone else, so pick your 8 fast before someone else gets them (Note: this does not bar you from picking the same team as someone else. You just can have the exact same list of 8 teams)
5. Post your 8 team list here by March 11, 2021

After all ORCS are complete, we will score your teams as follows:

1 point per ballot won by a team on your list + 2 points per NCT bid earned + 1 point per honorable mention + 1 point per SPAMTA

Tiebreakers will be a) Dollar amount left over, b) Time submitted

Notes:
1. We will run another round for NCT. There will be advantages for keeping teams from your ORCS roster, so keep that in mind when you create your team.
2. You may notice in pricing that the A teams always have the best records from regionals (even when a lower team in fact earned the best record). We have adopted the AMTA tradition of attributing the highest record to the A team, the second highest record to the B team and so on.
