2022 December Case Changes Empty Re: 2022 December Case Changes

Reading through the confessions page, I actually disagree that a lot has changed for the defense. If you really boil it down, Fullertin gets a new fact, engine failure gets an added Kane v. Mars defense, and Navarra (D) no longer runs the line of a violation. The P/D Navarra might seem like a lot, but it looks like the core facts remained relatively the same.

The most interesting change will be seeing if teams adapt to the huge nerfs that AMTA brought down on Felder and Koller. My hunch is that AMTA wanted the witness pick rates to be much more even. We might begin to see some wild plaintiff and defense calls now that the party reps are a bit more dangerous to call. Lonnie never fails being a sketchy reporter.

I disagree that Defense has not been changed significantly. Previously a D assumption of risk bench would have to call Koller, Shahid and Gelfand, and pray to god that P calls Felder, and Koller, Gelfand were relatively useless.

Now D can call the same call order with a potential backup of Roy (as a cry witness holding up a picture of Reese or just as a storysetting witness) or even Navarra (since they see Ari being ignored by Morgan and Reese at the beach).

The main point being that Gelfand and Koller are now very, very strong for assumption of risk.
